Sparks Family Scholarship - Charity Golf Tournament

Dear Golfers and Sponsors,

You are cordially invited to play in the 1st Annual Sparks Family Scholarship Golf Classic on Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Pine Lakes Country Club in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

For more details and an entry form, please follow this link: Sparks Family Scholarship Golf Tournament

All proceeds from the tournament will go directly to fund scholarships and an endowment for LOCAL students attending Coastal Carolina University. Beginning in the Fall of 2010, Annual Scholarships will be awarded to deserving students meeting the university's criteria and with a demonstrated financial need. With continued full-time enrollment at Coastal and by maintaining a qualifying GPA, the recipient may receive the scholarship for up to four years.

Since 1927, Pine Lakes Country Club has been a favorite of Grand Strand golfers. Nestled in the heart of Myrtle Beach, the graceful Southern architecture of the Clubhouse symbolizes the deeply rooted history and tradition of the Myrtle Beach area.

Pine Lakes was originally built on natural dunes less than a half mile from the ocean and featured numerous freshwater lakes and rolling fairways. Designed by architect Robert White, the first president of the Professional Golf Association (PGA) of America and a co-founder of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, Pine Lakes has surpassed its initial glory following a complete restoration.

After an extensive renovation to the course and clubhouse, you can now experience The Granddaddy as it was in the spirit of the 1920s. The back nine reflects White’s original design and the front nine was renovated to enhance the elegant experience golfers from around the world associate with Pine Lakes Country Club.

We welcome and appreciate your participation as a sponsor and/or golfer in our 1st Annual Tournament.

Thank you

The Sparks Family
